Powerful Design
Farmry backhoe attachments are precision-engineered for an optimal balance of size, weight, and power—light enough for easy on-site maneuvering, setup, and repositioning, yet strong enough for tough tasks like trench digging and heavy debris moving. Contrary to the misconception that "heavier equals more durable," unnecessary excess weight of some backhoes strains tractor frames over time, accelerating wear and shortening tractor service life. Farmry enhances performance via CNC laser-cut components (ensuring precise fit) and precision welding (creating uniform, strong bonds to eliminate structural weak points). Combined with its optimized structural design (for even load distribution), this premium manufacturing and design delivers the ideal balance of weight and rigidity—preventing tractor strain while maintaining the structural toughness needed for consistent, long-term performance.
Three-Point Hitch
You can easily convert your tractor into a backhoe using a straightforward 3-point hitch mounting setup—and this 3-point hitch further leverages your tractor’s draw bar to boost overall rigidity, ensuring stable operation.
Curved Boom
A curved boom backhoe features an excavator-style curved boom that offers improved digging efficiency, greater clearance over obstacles, and better visibility of the trench and bucket compared to traditional straight booms. This design allows for deeper digging without damaging the excavation's edge and provides more clearance when loading trucks.
Dual Swing Cylinders
The dual cylinders deliver strong, consistent movement across the full 180-degree range, letting you dig into even tight spots and dump dirt exactly where you need it.
Hardened Steel Bushings
Backhoe pivot points (pins and pin bosses) wear under high loads over time, leading to loose, rattling boom, dipper, or bucket—this is common for backhoes and excavators. Worn pins alone can’t restore performance, as pin bosses also wear.
Farmry solves this by equipping its backhoes with replaceable bushings pressed into pin bosses: replacing both pins and bushings brings the backhoe back to its original condition. This is crucial for protecting your investment (without replaceable bushings, a sloppy boom becomes permanent).
Typically exclusive to standalone backhoes/excavators, this feature comes standard on every Farmry backhoe attachment.
Replaceable Teeth
Our bucket teeth allow you to swap out worn or damaged teeth and get back to work as soon as possible.
Swing Cushioning
When swinging the boom to the extreme ends, rubber pads cushioning gracefully brings the boom to a controlled stop. Thus, it can provide the maximum protection during the equipment's left-to-right operation.
Rubber Footpads
Keep the stabilizer teeth from tearing up your lawn, blacktop, and concrete.
Grapple Thumb (Mechanical)
The grapple thumb is highly versatile for handling rocks, tree limbs, and brush. The mechanical type demands manual positioning: the operator lowers the thumb and inserts a pin to lock it in place.
JIC Style Hose Fittings
JIC (Joint Industrial Council) style hose fittings boast a 5000 psi pressure rating. When hydraulic hose replacement is needed, these fittings are typically easy to source—plus, they eliminate the hassle of dealing with mismatched joint threads.
Smooth Hydraulic Controls
All Farmry backhoe attachments for sale feature an integrated hydraulic pump and tank, so they don’t rely on the tractor’s hydraulics. This design offers key benefits: it ensures optimal flow and pressure at 540 RPM PTO speed for smooth hydraulic valve operation, solving the inherent compatibility issues of conventional backhoes—since tractor hydraulic flow/pressure varies widely, excess or insufficient flow/pressure is nearly unavoidable with traditional setups.
Additionally, Farmry’s hydraulic pump mounts directly to the 1.3/8-Z6 PTO spline of any Category I/II tractor. Without a PTO shaft, there’s no need for shaft sizing and no risk of binding/jamming. Installation is also simplified: secure the pump with a chainlock to prevent movement, rotate it to the PTO, adjust the backhoe’s height via support legs and boom, back the tractor into place, and fasten with pins—something impossible for backhoes using a PTO shaft to power pumps.
