Tested the HFSS87 on steep slope edges and it's surprisingly nimble—side shift and lift work in harmony to keep mowing level even on angles. The PTO driveline feels robust and connection was straightforward. It’s a bit heavy to lift manually when detaching, so two-person job recommended if you disconnect often. Blade change is quicker than older units I’ve used. Overall, a heavy-duty mower that’s thoughtfully engineered for serious pasture work.

Mounted the HFSS87 on my 70HP tractor and noticed it's quieter than I expected—fairly low RPM noise even during heavy brush cutting. The hydraulic shift is smooth, with quick response to joystick control. I did have to lubricate the pivot points before first use, which is typical for gear-driven units. Deck width is excellent for broader swaths, but it can be a bit tight in barn exits. Still, it’s a solid choice for larger farms needing precise, efficient mowing.

This thing is a beast—built like a tank. It mows efficiently and makes short work of overgrown areas. Just a heads-up for anyone using a smaller tractor: it’s heavy, so make sure your lift arms and rear remotes can handle it. Once it’s on and running though, it’s smooth and powerful.
