I purchased the MSF61 flail mower on the farmer.com website. It was on sale for a nice price which included a spare set of blades. The unit arrived a few weeks later packaged in a wooden crate. I reviewed the manual which is pretty good but lacks specific cutting height adjustments and 90W gear oil quantity for the gearbox. After some minor assembly the mower was ready. I had to shorten the drive line a few inches to fit my tractor.

The unit mows well and the quality is very good. Overall I am pleased and this mower is a good value.

Hooked this MFS61 up to my 60HP Massey—fit perfectly on the Cat 2 hitch. Mower cuts through thick weeds without bogging down. Only downside was shipping came two days later than expected, but support was responsive and kept me updated. Overall, solid piece of equipment for the price.
