2” Gasoline Wood Chipper, Direct Drive, RATO 212cc Engine,GS65S

I was impressed by how stable this chipper runs, even when placed on a concrete slab. Some units tend to walk or shake, but this one stays put. It chips quickly and doesn’t require much fuss. Easy enough to move between jobs, and the fuel tank lasts longer than expected.

Was looking for a compact chipper to handle seasonal pruning, and this GS65S did the trick. It’s not meant for logs, but it chews through limbs and brush easily. Fuel consumption is pretty reasonable too—I got a few hours off one tank. Wiping it down and checking the bolts after use is all it really needs.

The intake chute is angled just right—it pulls in branches without needing much force. I chipped up a pile of apple limbs in no time. The wheels make it easy to move around the property, and the front handle gives you good control when maneuvering over uneven ground.

Great machine for backyard cleanup. I use it for pruning debris after storms, and it hasn’t jammed once. The Rato engine runs consistently. Blade access is okay—not tool-free, but straightforward. I keep a few extra blades on hand just in case.

Fits nicely in the corner of my shed—smaller footprint than I expected. That’s a big plus when space is tight. Took it out this weekend to chip trimmings and it handled everything up to 2” with no stalling. Be ready for some noise though—it’s not quiet.
