Start With Tractor Power—but Don't Stop at Engine HP

A PTO-powered flail mower receives its working power through the PTO shaft, not directly from the engine. Standard Rear Mount or Hydraulic Side Shift?

When You Need a True Ditch Bank Mower

Side shift and ditch-bank mowing are related, but they are not identical.

If the job is primarily cutting grass beside a fence or reaching slightly outside your tractor track, an MFSS or HFSS may provide enough movement. If you routinely mow embankments, drainage ditches, roadside shoulders or steep banks, the articulated VLF/VHF ditch bank designs are the more purpose-built option.

Don't Assume a Bigger Farmry Flail Mower Needs 1000 RPM PTO
