WCAP5 PRO 5” 3-Point PTO Wood Chipper for 15–45 HP Tractors, PTO Shaft Included, Quick Hitch Compatible

WCAP5 PRO is the PRO (performance) version of the WCAP5 series, designed for users who want faster cutting speed, easier maintenance, and higher overall efficiency from a 3 point hitch wood chipper.

Compared with WCAP5, this PTO wood chipper features a speed-increasing steel gearbox, tool-free hinged maintenance access, and broader 3 point hitch compatibility. These upgrades help reduce downtime and increase productivity when chipping wood frequently. For most users, WCAP5 PRO is the recommended wood chipper model.

WCAP5 PRO is designed to work with a wide range of tractor setups commonly used in the U.S. market.

It is compatible with:

• CAT 1N, CAT 1, and CAT 2 3 point hitch systems
• Class 1 Quick Hitch systems that meet ASABE standards

A PTO shaft included allows direct connection to your tractor PTO, making setup straightforward for compact and utility tractors used on farms, orchards, and landscaping jobs.

WCAP5 PRO offers a 5-inch chipping capacity, ideal for processing everyday wood debris.

This wood chipper is designed to handle:

• Tree branches and limbs
• Storm debris and brush piles
• General wood material found in farm, orchard, and woodland maintenance

It efficiently turns material into uniform chips, helping operators clear land faster and reuse chips as mulch or remove them easily.

The speed-increasing steel gearbox raises the rotor and flywheel speed, which improves cutting efficiency and chip discharge.

By increasing rotor speed, WCAP5 PRO:

• Cuts wood more smoothly and consistently
• Improves airflow through the discharge chute
• Maintains better performance when feeding mixed or wet material

In real-world use, this results in higher throughput per hour and smoother operation during continuous jobs.

Yes. WCAP5 PRO comes with a PTO shaft included, allowing it to be connected directly to your tractor PTO without additional purchases.

Setup and operation are similar to other 3 point hitch wood chipper equipment. Once attached, the gravity-assisted hopper and smooth feed design help the machine handle wood efficiently with less manual effort.

Maintenance on WCAP5 PRO is designed to be quick and user-friendly. The machine features tool-free, hinged access to the infeed area, flywheel housing, and blade section.

Key maintenance benefits include:

• Fast access for cleaning and inspection
• Reversible blades with double-sided cutting edges to extend blade life
• Reduced downtime between jobs

This makes WCAP5 PRO easier to maintain and more efficient for users who chip wood regularly.
